Bio

I have been in private practice full time since 1991. I work with both men and women,   adolescents and adults to not only understand the underlying meaning of  symptoms and behaviors,  but to also help people find more effective and productive ways of dealing with those issues

I am experienced in working with family relationships and couples (hetero and homosexual).   I also treat the full range of eating disorders;  compulsive behaviors/addictions, and other transitions across the life-span. These include but are not limited to parenting issues; depression, personality disorders, ADHD and Adult Asperger’s. I am a St. Louis native, and I holds  doctorate in Clinical Social Work and a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling.   I have lectured both locally and nationally.  I also served as field supervision for practicum students in addition to  providing supervision to other clinicians in the community.  I am dedicated to ongoing training and research and therefore,  regularly attend conferences in order to integrate the most current research and best practice treatment philosophies into my clinical practice. I published my first book in 2009.  My  second book, for children, is co-authored with my 10 year old son was released  in 2013.
